This page explains how to delete your account in PipeHive, the field operations application published by PIPEHIVE TECH INC., and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.

Delete your account in the app

You can start and complete account deletion yourself, inside PipeHive:

  1. Open Profile & Settings.
  2. Open the Account section (“Sign out and account actions”).
  3. Tap Delete My Account.
  4. Read the confirmation, enter your password, and type DELETE to confirm.

You are asked for your password because deletion cannot be undone. Once it completes you are signed out and your sign-in no longer works.

If you cannot open the app

If you have lost access to your device or can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, so that nobody else can close your account.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in credentials and your ability to access PipeHive.
  • Your personal profile information: email address, phone number and personal notes.
  • Your notification settings, digest preferences and other saved preferences.
  • Push notification registrations and device identifiers for your devices.
  • The link between your project memberships and your sign-in identity.

What is kept, and why

PipeHive is used to record safety and construction work. Records you created or completed are the records of the company or project operator you did that work for, and they are retained to meet that company’s legal, regulatory and contractual obligations. They are not deleted when you delete your account, and they continue to show your name.

  • Field Level Hazard Assessments, tailgate meetings, inspections, deficiencies, daily reports, signatures, messages and audit records.
  • Yard, fabrication and quality records, including work you completed or signed off.
  • Certifications and expense receipts that support project work. These are moved out of your personal profile and kept by the company, with your name attached.
  • Your name and role on the projects you were a member of, so that the records above can still be attributed correctly. Your membership is marked as belonging to a deleted account and can no longer be used to sign in.

If you believe a specific record should be removed, that request goes to the company that operates the project, because the record belongs to them. We will direct your request to them or act on their instruction — see our Privacy Policy.

Backups

Deleted data may persist for a limited period in routine system backups before those backups age out. It is not restored to the application and is not accessible in PipeHive once your account is deleted.
